Systemic Neuroscience Based on Dynamic Connectomes, Existential Metabolism, and Decolonial Knowledges

We propose an integrative model of consciousness and cognition that bridges contemporary neuroscience with non-Western epistemologies. Introducing the DANA framework (DNA-Vital Spirituality), we reconceptualize intelligence as an emergent property of dynamic body-environment-culture systems. Through the principles of Vital Convolution and Triple-Aspect Monism, we demonstrate how brain connectomes (organized into Rock-Paper-Scissors systems) interact with the 12 human senses and pre-activated memories to generate perception and consciousness. This approach offers novel insights into belonging, DREX-based economic agency (Brazil’s retail CBDC), and collaborative education—key to addressing contemporary civilizational challenges.

Introduction

Modern neuroscience faces a paradox: despite advances in brain mapping, it fails to adequately explain conscious experience. We overcome this limitation through:  


1. DANA Intelligence: A unifying concept integrating:  

   - Molecular processes (DNA)  

   - Existential metabolism (affect)  

   - Vital spirituality (ancestral knowledges)  


2. Dynamic Connectome Model:  

   - Rock: Fast system (Kahneman’s System 1, salience networks)  

   - Paper: Metacognitive flexibility (Default Mode Network)  

   - Scissors: Critical analysis (frontoparietal network)  


3. Convolution Principle: A dynamic process where:

1. Complex Network Analysis (fMRI, NIRS, EEG-DC, EEG microstates)

4. Secular Neutrality Protocols (working memory buffer)

Decolonizing Neuroscience 

Our findings challenge three pillars of Western science:  

1. Binary constructs (subject-object, mind-body)  

2. Homo Economicus assumptions  

3. Consciousness as epiphenomenon  


APUS and Extended Proprioception  

The Andean concept of APUS (sacred mountains) models:  

- Culturally situated neuroplasticity  

- Ecological interoception  


Conclusions

1. Consciousness is a metabolic-relational process.  

2. Responsible states must implement DREX-driven policies to reduce neural stress linked to financial precarity.

3. Education must shift to collaborative models integrating neuroeconomics and decolonial praxis.

  1. Develop DREX-neural quorum sensing interfaces for economic well-being.

  2. Create decolonial research protocols centered on monetary sovereignty.

  3. Implement participatory community neuroscience with CBDC-based incentives.
