NIRSite 2.0 Launch
The new version of the NIRSite has arrived; the NIRSite 2.0. This tool makes it easy to create electrode mounting configurations for the collection of Functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS). Also allowing the use of short-distance channels.
In this new version, it is now easier to create mounting configurations, especially in relation to short-distance channels (click here to see more information about short-distance channels).
Aside from correcting some bugs found in the previous version, NIRSite 2.0 now has the following advantages:
• Automatic creation of short-distance channels
• Manual channel manipulation
• Renaming capabilities for source and detector labels
• Editable 2D visualization
• Automatic export to NIRStar (see the advantages of version 15.2 of NIRStar here) and for Aurora (used with NIRSport 2).
To obtain the new version, go to the NIRx's support page (support.nirx.de). If you have not yet registered, you can register with the serial number on your NIRx.
